Diving in the ocean is not all fun and games – in this story, a fishing net caused problems for a fur seal pup in New Zealand.

Activities

Practise: Holding your breath

How long can you hold your breath for? Did you know that with practise, you can get better?

Try this: Every day for a week, practise holding your breath for as long as you can. Take a few deep breaths in and aaaall the way out before you practise to help you improve faster.

After a week, measure your time and see if you've improved!
